Maps
editThe accompanying maps need to be amended. The map labelled "2014-" actually shows the current boundaries from "2019-" with Laois and Offaly in South. Another map needs to be inserted for "2014" showing Laois and Offaly in Midlands North-West at that time.

European Parliament constituencies in the Republic of Ireland → European Parliament constituencies in Ireland – My read of WP:IRE-IRL is that this can reasonably be moved. Although there was a Northern Ireland (European Parliament constituency), the context of this page relates it to the Member State. We're not on this page itself discussing Northern Ireland in the same context, even though it is in the See Also. - Oppose It's better to match the state article especially in contexts that have also included Northern Ireland. The guideline linked to covers running text rather than article titles. Timrollpickering (talk) 21:27, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
Oppose as the page is now Ireland refers to the island. Given that the North is no longer a constituency, there’s no need to have it labeled as Republic if the article mentions the Northern constituency too. But tbh I think there’s no point in changing Xx78900 (talk) 22:29, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. We need to disambiguate from the Northern Ireland constituency, if that constituency is excluded from the article. Celia Homeford (talk) 13:07, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
