- Hello. Once we proceed to consolidating the content of the two articles, would we then be allowed to rename the article 'European Data Portal' after the portal's current name (data.europa.eu)?
- We would also add a History section explaining that the European Data Portal (EDP) no longer exists as it was merged with the European Institutions Open Data Portal (EUODP) into a single portal under the name of data.europa.eu. OPC1002 (talk) 17:25, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- Draft:Data.europa.eu was merged to this article. I suggest to rename the article to "data.europa.eu" - which is the current name of the portal OP-Hag (talk) 20:18, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Should European Data Portal article be renamed "data.europa.eu" or should a new article be created? edit
The data.europa.eu open data portal was launched in April 2021 to consolidate in one two open data portals: the European Data Portal, a metadata catalogue of open data published by EU countries, and the EU Open Data Portal, the catalogue of open data published by Institutions of the European Union.
The data.europa.eu portal replaces the two EU portals and, in my opinion deserves, its own article.A draft article was submitted but is open to discussion whether the new portal deserves its own article or not. OP-Hag (talk) 18:46, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
