Any opinions on notability? We currently have one third-party ref, a story in the UK Guardian. Googling returns a few PR releases and some blog posts but little reliable independent coverage. At the same time, a large trade organisation representing a major industry is not an unreasonable subject for a Wikipedia article. --Colapeninsula (talk) 11:33, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Unquestionably notable. Guardian is a secondary source that conforms with WP:RS. Primary content from the organisations website is usable in the context of outlining what its directives are -- Semitransgenic _talk. 11:51, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

There is no way this wikipedia can be used as a reference as it is factually wrong in many instances and does not give the overview of what EuropaBio actually is.
