Problem with the title

edit

Why was this page moved to "SNCF TGV 2N2"? The only English-language source says nothing of the sort, instead calling it Euroduplex. Even the Francophone sources don't use "SNCF TGV 2N2". bobrayner (talk) 02:27, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Maybe the name has changed since the article was written? Anyway a quick google search yields links to the Alstom site for "Euroduplex" but only Youtube links for "TGV 2N2". So think we should rename this article to "Euroduplex" and we create a redirection from "TGV 2N2" to this one. In fact ... SNCF is the french rail authority and the acronym shouldn't be included in an article about a trainset imho. AadaamS (talk) 10:48, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

SNCF TGV 2N2Euroduplex – Sources do not call it "SNCF TGV 2N2", which is a very odd composite name. SNCF does not make it and is not the exclusive user. Sources prefer "Euroduplex": [1] [2] [3] [4] bobrayner (talk) 15:35, 17 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Move back to TGV 2N2

edit

Euroduplex represent the same train as TGV 2N2 however, every other languages use TGV 2N2 as article name so it would be nice to rename the en article to match articles in every other languages Moréo (talk) 09:02, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
