"Fisheries interaction"? edit

The reference in the article[1] mentions fisheries interaction (intentional killing) as a species threat, but doesn't explain what this means. I left it out of the lsit of threats, but if anyone with access to the full article can explain it in greater detail, feel free to add it back in. Euryalus (talk) 21:41, 10 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Probably the poor creature just gets trapped in fishermen's nets (currently used or abandoned ones) and eventually dies of suffocation. I have read that this happens to the Chinese alligator occasionally. -- Vmenkov (talk) 03:21, 30 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
