I think you did an excellent job on the details of your visual analysis of the vase. Some suggestions might be to add a brief blurb about the evolution of the function of an amphora (e.g. from just storage to a status symbol culminating in the use of it as a prize.) Also, maybe add a bit more detail about what the foot-race, as a competition, entailed (if such info is available). Minor points of clarification might be that it is the Athena Promachos, and where the Amphora was discovered. Maybe even create an internal link to black figure style at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-figure_pottery so that a reader could easily check out what this includes. Hi Giancarlo - this is a solid start! You've already received some useful comments from your peer-reviewer, and I offer a few suggestions of my own below.

• Divide your article into a lead paragraph (introductory paragraph of a couple sentences) and then distinct sections. For your article, perhaps a section on "Description" and "Function" would be useful. This will help organize your article.
  
• As currently written, this article would be flagged as a "stub" by Wikipedia. That means it is too brief / short. Consider adding an additional section or two, perhaps on the evolution of the function of the amphora (as Ashton suggests), or on the fact that an amphora with oil was awarded as a prize, or on the role of running events, etc. There's lots of room for expansion here.
