Hope ya don't mind my helping, a little bit. :) GoodDay (talk) 00:30, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Not at all. Everyone is welcome.Two kinds of porkMakin'Bacon 02:48, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Well, this one is a challenge, though the 1974 Bridgeport Post profile I added is quite promising. She was divorced, and I believe Anderson was her married name, Alex L. Anderson, being her husband at least in the late 50s.--Milowenthasspoken 04:15, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
Looks like you found more stuff than I have. I only looked her up because we watched the Louis episode mentioned in the article. Very un-PC but funny. Is she American? I'd assume so, but we can't assume in mainspace. Two kinds of porkMakin'Bacon 17:38, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • There's a blog [1] which says she went to University of Chicago for college, but I can't confirm that with anything reliable yet. Her ex-husband was Yale class of 1938 and worked in PR. She lived in the late 1950s through at least the mid 70s in Cos Cob, Connecticut. With her maiden name (assuming its not something like Smith) I could probably find out more. My gut is that she's the sort of actor who would could be shown to meet WP:GNG if only the newspapers that wrote about her over time happened to be on Google newspapers or fultonhistory.com. Assuming she's still alive and doing well, she's also the sort of person I could see a paper doing a human interest spread on if she's not still in Manhattan.--Milowenthasspoken 22:04, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Screw it. I moved it to main-space. Just watched her episode in Louie again. NOTAFORUM but if you're bored and have access to Netflix, you can find far worse ways to spend 22 minutes of your life. After watching that (don't miss the out of character interview at the end) I wanted to know "Who is that woman?" I suspect others will as well. Thank you @GoodDay:, @Milowent: and @Rich Farmbrough: for doing all the legwork on this. Two kinds of porkMakin'Bacon 04:23, 23 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Year of birth

edit

The lead had 1917 as her year of birth, and the infobox had 1922 as her year of birth, neither of which was sourced. I have removed both years and the 1922 births category. If someone finds a reliable published non-primary source for her year of birth, please add the year with an accompanying citation. Eddie Blick (talk) 02:52, 19 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
