@Big iron: Though Telgen writes that Evans was born in 1927, LCAuth links her to the book Turquoise and Coral and cites an online obituary from Rivera Family Funerals & Cremations, stating that she was born in 1917 and died in 2010. I cannot find the Rivera Family source, but did find this (via Legacy.com) in the Santa Fe New Mexican supporting the 1917–2010 lifespan. Thoughts? Vycl1994 (talk) 19:12, 26 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Vycl1994: I would suspect that Rivera Family Funerals & Cremations in Santa Fe, New Mexico had the same text as the obituary in the Santa Fe New Mexican (legacy.com). So, there are two conflicting sources for birth year. If you feel that 1917 is more reliable than 1927, then please feel free to update the article. In any case, the conflicting dates should probably be noted. I seem to recall encountering another source which agreed with Telgen but I cannot swear to that and I could not re-locate it. --Big_iron (talk) 18:30, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
