I have a double-sided red label Zonophone with "Who's Sorry Now" (credited to Herbert Payne) as the A-side. More than anything I wonder when it's from because it's wonderful. Anyone any clues? -- This comment was contributed by User:Lunarship.

Infobox edit

I suggest removing the infobox from this article. It contains only repetitive information, or information that would be better explained in the article, and it limits the size of the photograph, which would be easier to see at a slightly larger size. -- Ssilvers (talk) 13:38, 21 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I agree. The Infobox serves no purpose here other than to repeat information which can be easily found in the lede section and the first few lines in the main body. A properly written summary lead should provide all the information that a casual reader needs and should at the same time provide an incentive to read on. An infobox, in my view, promotes the factoid approach. Not needed here IMO. -- CassiantoTalk 15:49, 21 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello Ssilvers and Cassianto. Thanks Ssilvers for suggestions about references. This was the first article I originated on Wikipedia and as such I know that references need improving. I have significant further information now about Pike and his early life. I will be attempting in the next few weeks to completely revise this article with more references and an improved summary lead. At this point the infobox could be removed and a bigger photo inserted. Remember the debate about the photo earlier this year? Well it is in fact from Gaisburg's book of which I now have a copy. I would suggest that it is rescanned at a better resolution as the existing photo is too poor to expand further and does not show Pike's face well enough. In addition to all this I have found further better pictures of him in some pre-1910 periodicals - and these are much better pictures of him altogether, but I need to find an actual copy of these to scan and, of course we are back to the issue of copyright again! OK, thanks. It's great that, at Wikipedia, we can always improve an article when we find more information. Looking forward to the new info and refs and sharper image. I'll remove the infobox now. -- Ssilvers (talk) 19:00, 24 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

New information edit

Richard, good job adding new information to the article. I see that you are also interested in Dawkins. Perhaps you would like to do the same to his article? All the best. -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:05, 19 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
