Flag? edit

The recent discovery of this specimen means it does not have an extensive literature because most vertebrate palaeontologists have not had the chance to examine it. The one paper quoted is readable in full, and seems to cover the whole content of our page. What more is an editor supposed to do? It's high time we thought a bit before we put flags up. You just can't get a more appropriate reference than the one given in the article. Macdonald-ross (talk) 11:31, 7 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Contradicting claims with another page edit

Phosphatherium also claims to be oldest known proboscid.
