Talk:Eric Fletcher Waters

Sorry I forgot to capitalise the names in the title and I'm not sure how to. If any user can change this, it would be much appreciated. HughRB 18:42, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for changing the title. HughRB 19:22, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I found it very difficult to find much information on Eric Fletcher Waters. His date of birth in particular would be a very useful addition if anybody knows, also more information on Mary and John would be useful. From Nick Mason's Inside Out, I know that "Roger's brother", presumably John, was a taxi driver who had been carrying Bob Geldof and his agent when Bob had been asked to star in The Wall Movie, but I have not included it in this article as I am not sure of its relevance. Further research indicates that he had three sons but I won't include this until I find out the name of the third son HughRB 11:27, 7 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

For notabilty, please see The Fletcher Memorial Home and D-Day Dodgers.Pustelnik (talk) 23:50, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

It seems almost insane that someone would challenge the notability criteria of something they obviously have no comprehension of. This man's life and death is referenced in film and music from some of the most influential artists of the late 20th century. I'm going to do the right thing and remove the notability tag ASAP.--Bodybagger (talk) 08:17, 17 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure I agree with this. Apart from some apparent original research, there doesn't seem to be any real claim of notability here. We need some proper references to save this article. --John (talk) 20:28, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

British Milltary Nomenclature edit

Just made a small edit as the British would refer to the unit as "C Company" rather than "Company C". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.249.201.84 (talk) 14:51, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
