"Eri kingdom" edit

This seems to be a modern day creation based on the idea that the Igbo are "descendants of Israel"[1] [2]. Fringe and where names of living people are mentioned a BLP violation. Dougweller (talk) 14:43, 27 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Eri and the priesthood edit

I have the conviction that my clan Ogba Kingdom was founded by a priest of Nri who was on his way back to his homeland from Igomigodo (Bini Empire) in 1442, but could not proceed as he discovered a fertile land here and decided to establish his own kingdom. Though the priest was not Ogba but his father Akalaka who had two wives and begat Ogba and Ekpeye. Ohali Eze-buruzor-chi was a descendant of Ogba who left Obigwe and settled by the bank of Orashi river and named his territory Ayamah. The first son of Ohali whose name is Obia'nwa left his homeland leaving his aged father behind and discovered Obi'riete (Obite) in conjunction with a hunter Udu'igwe - the ancestral father of Umu-Ngwu. Obite as it known today became an abode for people like Obia'nwa who sort the need to raise their own family farther away from their homeland. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Godwin Obulor Aaron (dvbranch) (talkcontribs) 18:13, 22 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
