Very deep

edit

The term "very deep" is used in the first paragraph of the current version. I don't know if this is a technical term, and if it is, what does it mean? If it is not, there must be a better term than "very deep." Please clarify. Oswald Glinkmeyer (talk) 01:16, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's been there since the start of this article, but I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean either. It doesn't seem to fit the definition in Mathematical jargon#deep: it's not a result, it's a problem, so we don't know what sort of techniques would be needed to solve it. I think it's just editorialization, and should probably just be removed. —David Eppstein (talk) 01:35, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Great. If someone thinks it needs to be in there, they can better clarify when they add it back. Oswald Glinkmeyer (talk) 19:05, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
