As part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles' Project quality task force, I am re-reviewing this article to ensure compliance with current good article criteria. I have determined that it doesn't meet criteria for the reasons outlined below and needs a bit of work if it is to retain its status.

  • There are lots of unsourced statements that need additional citations.
  • One or two-line/sentence paragraphs abound. These aren't real paragraphs. They needs to be either merged into other paragraphs, fleshed out into passages of respectable length, or cut. My recommendation is expansion, especially in the reception section which is very short.
  • The gameplay section isn't all that helpful, especially as it presumes a foreknowledge of the game's plot. It needs to be rewritten to be more accessible.
  • Citations needs to be fully formatted (author, date, accessdates, and publisher info) using the {{Cite web}} template or otherwise.
  • File:Eragon-PC-Screenshot.jpg's resolution needs to be dramatically cut to comply with WP:NFCC (generally the rule of thumb is less than .1 megapixels in resolution.)

I am putting the article on hold for seven days, and will extend that period of significant progress is made. Keep me appraised here or on my talk page. Thanks, Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 21:49, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Since no changes have been implemented, I am delisting. Remember you can renominate at WP:GAN any time you feel it meets criteria. I do not watchlist old reviews, so direct any further comments to my talk. Thanks, Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 13:45, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
