In India, this flower is often referred to as Brahma Kamal, which is actually [Saussurea obvallata|this one]. This flower is sort of worshipped here as it blooms usually during the sacred month of Shravan (aug. - sept.), which coincides with the monsoon season in India.203.188.226.7 (talk) 20:02, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
