Talk:Ephraim Einhorn

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

A few observations: edit

1. Why is Dr. Einhorn's Chinese name rendered into simplified characters, rather than the traditional ones used in Taiwan? Also, a romanization should be given for his Hebrew name.

2. There is a link to the "Einhorn family" coat of arms. Has Dr. Einhorn claimed these arms for himself? The usual heraldic principle is that such arms may only belong to one person at a time--not to a family (though exceptions exist in South Africa and Central Europe). So, I wonder whether some enthusiast has assigned Dr. Einhorn arms that do not actually belong to him.

3. More attention should be given to the fact that he is an *Orthodox* rabbi; to his published political views (e.g., on Israel / Palestine); and to his involvement in the Polish Chamber of Commerce. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.165.205.69 (talkcontribs)

Hebrew edit

Since he's not Israeli, nor has ever lived in Israel for an extended time (at least mentioned in the article), is it really necessary to have his name in Hebrew characters? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.214.231.38 (talk) 18:59, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
