Individual incidents

Although Radioactive waste dumping by 'Ndrangheta was more of an immoral action than a crime it might be better to have a Category:Environmental crime rather than having each case listed in the article? Gabriel Kielland (talk) 13:22, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Environmental Crime

The sources are reliable. Everything in the article relevant to the article topic of breaking the law. Everything was pretty on point, not much distracted me. It talked a little bit too much on enforcement. I think if they touched more on the criminology and roots behind this enforcement this article would make more sense. It talks about many cases. It elaborates on how corporations found it more cost-effective to continue to pollute more than the law allowed and simply pay any associate fines if indeed the corporation was actually found and convicted of violating environmental laws or regulations. The view points in this are well balances as it explains the cost, prosecution, and enforcement of environmental justice. The references come from environmental investigation agencies and more. The citations work and there are good PDFs/articles that go into more detail about environmental criminology.
