Suggestions for work on this page edit

Create a section on the history of EIA, to include where Allan, Jenny and Dave met, and EIA's key successes. link to start you off: http://www.eia-international.org/cgi/news/news.cgi?t=template&a=177

Create a section on the TV series- the Animal Detectives, which would include connections and references to Carlton etc, dates of airing, key results from this series. Here is a link to get us started: http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/series/24687

- is there any YouTube one could link to? Animal Detectives should have its own page too

A section on the key groups that EIA has worked with, or just links to them would be nice.

Maybe a list of key publications, especially any books, with ISBN

While we are at it, surely Allan Thornton should have his own page? Anyone? link to start you off: http://www.eia-international.org/cgi/news/news.cgi?t=template&a=177 for comparison Paul Watson has a page and Allan is an OBE.

Take a look at other comparable groups and see what they have- Greenpeace, Sea Shepherd etc. I think by the time we have done most of this, with proper references, catagories and internal links this would make it at least start class. IceDragon64 (talk) 23:15, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Encyclopedic Style? edit

This article is not written in a very encyclopedic style- it looks very much as if it is written by/for EIA. It is time something was put into the article about its controversies- disputes with other NGO's, inconsistancy of giving the impression that the small whales are endangered, etc. WITH REF's IceDragon64 (talk) 23:04, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Category? edit

Is there/should there be a catagory for Environment NGO's? IceDragon64 (talk) 23:32, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ideas for NGO pages edit

Maybe we should create some kind of template of a table of key facts for NGO's if it doesn't exist already. Current membership figures would make a useful comparison between groups. An award list would be good. What else? IceDragon64 (talk) 23:40, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Critisism edit

Someone add a section about all the problems they've caused!!!123.255.23.248 (talk) 14:26, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good idea. So long as it is properly referenced. spelt criticism.

Article has no independent sources edit

All the references to this article seem to be to the Environmental Investigation Agency webside itself, contrary to WP:V and WP:RS. Are there not any independent sources for this article? Regards, —mattisse (Talk) 20:20, 18 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Self-published" edit

This, along with what looks like many other Wikipedia articles, have been "self-published" to Project Gutenberg under the name "World Heritage Encyclopedia". Rather badly, at that, because the references don't work and there's a pile of metadata at the bottom.
