Highest ranking?

edit

The article states that the federal Environment Minister is the highest ranking government official. However, federal ministers do not outrank provincial ones -- under a federal system like Canada's, federal and provincial cabinets have equal rank. Federal ministers simply have higher profiles. In fact, given that the environment is primarily a provincial jurisdiction, provincial environment ministers have much greater de jure (and de facto) authority over environmental issues. 204.40.1.129 (talk) 20:38, 15 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

This article mentions climate change, but lacks any specific details and citations.

I am planning to edit this page and add more sources to it. As of right now, I edited the section on "Environmental education". I wrote about different organizations that support education about the environment and the funding that is received for further learning. Next, I am planning to add a section about the effects that climate change has on the environment of Canada. Monika2024 (talk) 15:49, 31 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
