One of those things that everyone knew at the time but which is impossible to source now: Gredley wanted to call the horse "Environmentally Friendly" but was knocked back by the Jockey Club as the name was far too long. Another oddity was that John McCririck, for reasons known only to himself, insisted on referring to the horse as The Environment Friend. Tigerboy1966 00:59, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
