I've added a 'see also' section for Entwisles (just one at present), given the frequent confusion of spelling between Entwistle, Entwhistle and Entwisle (a historical issue and still current)

Origins?
editI was disappointed to find that such an interesting name had no origin info here. Does anyone know where it came from? Does it actually refer to a whistle of some kind, and/or an Ent? I'd be tickled knowing a tree giant was among my ancestors. – AndyFielding (talk) 07:32, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
