I have removed the remarks that the crew "panicked" and struck the ship's flag. There is absolutely no evidence for this assertion, and the decision to surrender was taken by Ayscue after evaluating the situation as hopeless. Rif Winfield (talk) 21:03, 27 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
