Split and Clarify

edit

There are several different breeds of Longhorns, such as the English Longhorn, Spanish Longhorn (which Columbus brought to the New World but which is now extinct), Dishley Longhorn (a separate breed developed by Bakewell), etc. Someone should split this Article and clarify the several different major breeds, perhaps with a separate article for each breed or, at a minimum, one article with a separate section for each. Oconnell usa (talk)

[{Texas Longhorn]] has a separate article, I see no reason not to create articles on the others. I think this one maybe should be renamed to "English longhorn" (or whatever official name is out there) and "Longhorn" or "Longhorn cattle" be a dab. But, as I don't have the time to actually do this, i'll just put it out as a friendly suggestion. Montanabw(talk) 17:20, 9 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
