Emil Lang (fighter ace)Emil Lang – There are only two Emil Langs: the other one is a cartoon character who doesn't even have his own Wikipedia page - but is redirected to the page with a list of characters. The real-life Emil Lang thus should be in the main space. – Pudeo' 21:54, 2 August 2014 (UTC)

Neo-Nazi publication

I removed a non RS citation to Schaulen: link and replaced it with a Cn tag. For background, please see: User talk:Hawkeye7/Archive 2016#Neo-Nazi publications. Please let me know if there are any concerns. K.e.coffman (talk) 02:59, 27 February 2017 (UTC)

Timeline faulty?

The article states that: "He received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 22 November 1943 for his 119 victories to that time."

However, I found an appearance of him in "Die Deutsche Wochenschau" from Decembre 1943, have a look: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LanhocYBlns#t=0m46s

You can see a sign which holds "100". The German speaker says that during this fight he shot 8 enemy planes and reached the 100. This does not match to 119 hits in November 1943?

According to the sources, Prien, Stemmer, Rodeike, Bock, Matthews and Foreman, Lang claimed his 100th aerial victory on 3 November. Even if the date of the "Die Deutsche Wochenschau" is correctly dated, a four week delay between when the images were filmed and when the Wochenschau was aired, seems reasonable. I do not see a discrepancy MisterBee1966 (talk) 05:41, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
