History removed due to lack of citations edit

There were two long para about Dick Ellis being the origin of the name, suggesting the information came from the Cairns Historical Museum. Unfortunately I cannot find anything that confirms this story, other than in Trove whic confirms there was a Dick Ellis who suffered an accident to his hand [http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article41497392]. There is no mention of either Ellis Beach nor Dick Ellis on the website of the Cairns Historical Museum. Google searches failed etc. If you can find a source, please re-instate the contents with citation. Kerry (talk) 07:55, 8 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
