"Controversial physicist"?
editThe article claims that Ellery is a "controversial physicist". Is there any controversy over his academic work, or is this merely a reference to his role in the 1963 case? If the latter, I think it should be reworded, as I definitely got the wrong impression and imagine others would too. -Chinju 19:11, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
10 Bible passages?
editThe section on "Activism" begins with a reference to "the school requirement that each student read 10 Bible passages and the Lord's Prayer each day during homeroom." I was a public school student in Pennsylvania at this time, and I believe the rule was that a minimum of 10 Bible verses had to be read (plus the Lord's Prayer). However, I don't have a citation to offer, so I'm just leaving this note in case anyone else can look up the information in the right place. --best regards DSatz (talk) 23:40, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
- The statute, as quoted in the ruling, called for "ten verses".Novangelis (talk) 04:49, 21 April 2013 (UTC)

Job history
editCan anyone provide the link to where they got the Schempp work history. It's not provided in any current links. It may have to be removed if it cannot be sourced. Cap020570 (talk) 16:19, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
It's been a year and I've had yet to hear from anyone for a source for his employment. --Cap020570 (talk) 02:26, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.
The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.
Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 18:15, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
