Untitled edit

I am the grandson of Prof. Ellen Müller-Preis. There were factual errors in this Wikipedia page, falsely claiming that she was Jewish. She was not Jewish, and in fact her husband and my grandfather were in the German-Austrian Army as an officer, which would not have been possible if she were Jewish. The truth is that she was born Protestant ("Evangelish" in German) and remained so all her life. Her son, my dad, married a Jewish mother, my mom. I was baptised Catholic (like my dad, and his father) but raised Jewish by my mom. Please DO NOT GO BACK AND CHANGE THIS FACT AGAIN. Last year, we edited this fact (my sister did), but somehow it was reverted. Now that my grandma has passed away, please respect her and the truth and do not revert the article.

Ellen Muller-Preis was not Jewish edit

I should know, she was my grandmother. my sister and i have both come on here and repeatedly altered this page to reflect that she was Protestant and NOT JEWISH but somehow it keeps getting changed back

Ellen Mueller-Preis was my Dad's mother, born in Berlin to PROTESTANT parents and raised PROTESTANT. I have her bible with her name inscribed on the inside cover if you need more proof. Her son, my dad, Dr. HM Muller married my mom, who is Jewish, Marilyn P Mueller, but Ellen Mueller-Preis was IN NO WAY JEWISH, none of her Berlin or Austrian family members were in any way Jewish.

I was raised as a Jew and I would be proud to claim my incredible grandmother as a Jew, but she was not. So why does Wikipedia keep insisting that she was? ill start posting her bible on this page if this keeps happening, maybe that will stop it.

Helene Mayer, a fencer for Germany, was Jew but rejected her faith to fence for Hitler Germany, but Ellen Muller-Preis was not a Jew but did win the Gold for Austria in '32 ahead of the German Mayer

Mueller-Preis not Jewish edit

I am the daughter-in-law of Ellen Mueller-Preis and there is no part of her or her family that is Jewish! Her husband, Dr. Heinrich Mueller, was a member of the Nazi SS and I can assure you that that would not have beenMPMueller (talk) 14:59, 15 October 2013 (UTC) possible if his wife, who was thoroughly vetted by the Nazis, was in any way, shape or form Jewish. So, please, once and for all, stop asserting that she was Jewish, in whole or part! I don't know how this got started, but it needs to stop. My son and daughter have tried to fix this, without any success. MPMueller (talk) 14:59, 15 October 2013 (UTC) Marilyn P. MuellerReply
