I think the characterization that ECTC offers two-year degrees is misleading, particularly to readers outside of the U.S. who may not be familiar with the term. As an informal term, referring to an associate degree as a two-year degree may be OK but this is an encyclopedia and an accurate description is needed. The colleges offer Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees in many areas.
