South Broad Street Bridge

South Broad Street Bridge is vehicular bridge over the Elizabeth River in Midtown Elizabeth, the county seat of Union County, New Jersey. The bridge carries South Broad Sreet (CR 23). It is approximately 2.75 miles (4.43 km) from the river's mouth.^[2]

The stone arch bridge that had been built in 1874 was documented by documented by the Historic American Engineering Record in 1982.^[3] and was replaced by the current bridge in 1984.^[4]^[5]
