Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (1704-1784) → Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (died 1784) – or Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (née Russell). Wikipedia doesn't ordinarily use complete lifespan ranges as disambiguators for people. In this case, the date of death seems better attested than the date of birth. I'm not sure whether there should be anything else besides the timeframe context within the parentheses, because the title of nobility is already present outside of the parentheses. There is also a question of whether there is a primary topic or not. Pageviews confirm the other Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (née Percy, lifespan 1636–1718) is more popular with readers, but not by a huge margin. The "primary" one gets about 62% of the pageviews of the two, so the ratio is less than 2:1. — BarrelProof (talk) 22:51, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
- Support per initial nomination, Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (1704-1784) → Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (died 1784) and would also support an alternative option to the effect of Elizabeth Capell (wife of William Capell, 3rd Earl of Essex) or more simply Elizabeth Capell (wife of 3rd Earl of Essex), thus disambiguating her from Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex, whose main title header could be Elizabeth Capell (wife of Arthur Capell, 1st Earl of Essex) or more simply Elizabeth Capell (wife of 1st Earl of Essex), paired with the creation of an Elizabeth Capell disambiguation page that would list the two noblewomen. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:27, 24 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
- Support a move to Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (née Russell) but not the other - can't see how that's an improvement. Deb (talk) 17:12, 24 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
- Support Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (born 1704). We usually prefer YOB to YOD if known. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:49, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
- I'm open to using the birth year. I'm not sure why I thought it was in doubt. — BarrelProof (talk) 16:49, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
- I would likewise expand my above support vote to include Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (1704-1784) → Elizabeth Capell, Countess of Essex (born 1704). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 19:38, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
