This is a first-time article creation. I am an amateur historian and a professional scientist, trying to return some of my knowledge to wikipedia.
In this article I am attempting to address a disproportionately low percentage of wiki-content regarding women in the arts, whose accomplishments are not always made public in a society dominated by men.
Issues that will come up I am sure will be the test of notability and referencing.
I believe however that the timely inclusion of cross-referencable material about historical writers is needed.
