editPlease tell me if there is a format for <native english speaker help>, because I'm not english, and a british or US citizen could fine-touch the articles to better make it inteligible.86.121.67.198 (talk) 06:10, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Half Macedonian
editAccording to her myspace profile, Elena is Half Macedonian and Half Ardelean. I will update the Wikipedia page. http://www.myspace.com/elenagheorghe Mactruth (talk) 03:06, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- One needs to look at the Romanian-language bio on the MySpace page rather than the (quite bad) English translation. "Machedoanca" does not mean ethnic Macedonian, but Aromanian. Ethnic Macedonian would be something like "Macedoneana". And considering that "Ardelean" doesn't mean anything in English, I am inclined to think it means Romanian. A Romanian editor would need to confirm this, though. BalkanFever 09:17, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
To: BalkanFever Stop changing the article...she is Macedonian and not Aromanian as you can see on her myspace profile is good seing MACEDONIAN and not some stupids as you say Machedoanca or whatever...she is Macedonian every eurovision reporter said that she is half Macedonian and on her profile is the proove... - Slavic Macedonian dude, I invite you politely to stop. Her mother is romanian and her father is aromanian (macedo-romanian) . The aromanians are also calling themselves "machedoni" but they are different then the slavic macedonians do you understand ? The person who made her profile on myspace is not aware that the term "macedonian" reffers to the slavic people of Republic of Macedonia. Do you understand ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.232.165.83 (talk) 00:59, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
BTW I am not Slavic...I am Macedonian !!! Ok Aromanians have Macedonian genes too, so I will stop here, but I think something here is weird!!! User:1111tomica (talk) 11:37 15 May 2009 —Preceding undated comment added 09:37, 15 May 2009 (UTC).
The profile from myspace It's not made by her and it's translated in english from romanian. The romanian part it's from a romanian magazine. Inside Romania sometines people tend to identify by the regional part of the country, (ardelean, muntean, moldovean, dobrogean, muresan etc) which is equivalent for example with Italian regions (neapletan, milanese, torinese etc) . I hope this is clear for you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.232.165.83 (talk) 13:06, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- the fact is that any citizen born on Romania ground, from 1947 onwards, have the citizenship written down. Whatever the nationality of the parents, especially if Maria Man was a get-beget romanian, then her daughter is romanian too. The disertation and clasification of nationality based on the partents nationality is something coming up from the Bible, and from jews and hungharians, which in some cases may say they are not romanians.86.121.67.198 (talk) 06:07, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
