Non-Standard Model

I think the violation of the baryon and lepton quantum numbers means that this is not part of the Standard Model and thus hypothetical, can someone confirm this for me? Yodo9000 (talk) 21:11, 6 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

No. Violation of the baryon and lepton quantum numbers IS part of the Standard Model. That is exactly what sphaleron does. It is an instanton process which is suppressed at low temperatures but becomes basically unsuppressed above the electroweak symmetry breaking temperature. 68.133.16.109 (talk) 12:19, 22 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
