Hertz edit

Should be something on how part of Japan runs on 50hz, and part on 60hz... AnonMoos (talk) 23:30, 24 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Electricity distribution in Japan has now been created, and needs to be merged into this article. -- Chronulator (talk) 19:48, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
The two file downloads that the map was made from are actually empty. Does anyone have the data? I'm particularly interested in the coordinates for the dividing line between 50 & 60hz so that I can make a world map of frequencies.Ben.doherty (talk) 01:29, 4 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

It'd be nice if this mentioned the wall plug voltage for the 50Hz and 60Hz regions (e.g. ~120V 50/60Hz, or 240V for 50Hz as it is in European countries). 72.48.75.131 (talk) 18:55, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

I haven't seen voltage differences mentioned, just frequency differences. AnonMoos (talk)
Mains_electricity#Standardization says supply is 100V. John a s (talk) 11:22, 5 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
