Electric City → Electric City (disambiguation) – To redirect Electric City to Electric City, Washington. The city in Washington is the only real city that has this name as its real name, and not just a nickname. Real places usually trump fiction, especially in this case when the fictional uses are so minor. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 21:30, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. Based on usage, Electric City (web series) generates FAR more traffic (over 5600 times in the last 90 days) than Electric City, Washington (around 1130 in the last 90 days) Based on those statistics, the web series is clearly not "so minor" when compared to the real place in Washington (which is no surprise since the web series was created by a major actor like Tom Hanks and published through Yahoo!, while the city has less than 1000 people and thus very small compared to the larger US cities). Real places should not automatically trump fiction if they do not pass WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. Zzyzx11 (talk) 01:16, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
