date of 'death'? edit

currently reads: Eleanor Jarman (1904 – undetermined) would it be appropriate to list (1904 - after 1975?) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.171.187.183 (talk) 07:31, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • No, because there's no evidence she's died yet; it's 'undetermined'. 58.107.124.79 (talk) 09:12, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

FBI Ten Most Wanted edit

Jarman does not appear on the official FBI website as ever having been on their Ten Most Wanted list. The list itself did not exist when Jarman escaped from prison in 1940. I removed two statements that assert otherwise (the second used a dead link to an eBay auction as a citation). Matuko (talk) 13:03, 23 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

"Runaway" edit

I removed the description of Jarman as a "runaway" since adults are generally not considered to be "runaways", especially if they are a fugitive from justice. Matuko (talk) 13:05, 23 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

199 year sentence edit

199 years is an odd amount - an even 200 years would seem simpler. Could the reason for the 199 year sentence be added to the article?
