Infobox and lead edit

  • Infobox looks good!
  • Swap the released sentence with the writing/production one
  • "The song was released as" → "It was released as"
  • Write merengue rap in prose since you have identified the genre as this elsewhere
  • "poor condition and is based on Guerra's experience." → "poor condition, based on Guerra's experience in one."
  • ""El Niágara en Bicicleta" was met with positive reactions from three music critics who praise" → "The song received positive reactions from three music critics, who praised"
  • The second para of the lead is disordered; place accolades first, then commercial performance and finally music video
  • Add a sentence at the end of the second para about the cover version

Background and composition edit

  • Add relevant text to the audio sample
  • Remove comma before Fogaraté
  • ""I'm making a" → "Guerra said, "I'm making a"
  • "On February the following year," → "In February 1998,"
  • "ballads, and a salsa, and that would" → "ballads and a salsa, and that it would"
  • Remove comma before Karen Records
  • "and that it would still contain the aforementioned" → "and it would still contain the intended" or something similar per this being a new para
  • "in the island."" → "in the island"." per MOS:QUOTE
  • "explains: "the singer-protagonist" → "explains that "the singer-protagonist"
  • Pipe electrocardiogram to Electrocardiography
  • If the lyrics that Guerra sings are a full quote, then place the punctuation inside speech marks
  • Pipe merengue rap to Merenhouse
  • "He was inspired to write the song after visit" → "Guerra was inspired to write the song after a visit"

Promotion and reception edit

  • "The accompanying music video for the song was" → "The music video for the song was" with the wikilink
  • "from a stroke, and deals" → "from a stroke and deals"
  • "called it the album's highlight" → "called the former the album's highlight"
  • "a gentle touch."" → "a gentle touch"." per MOS:QUOTE
  • Remove speech marks around any of the awards
  • Pipe 12th Annual Lo Nuestro Awards to Lo Nuestro Awards
  • Pipe Billboard to Billboard (magazine)
  • "in the US." → "in the United States." per MOS:US

Final comments and verdict edit

  •   On hold until all of the issues are fixed; I was gonna complete this yesterday but my laptop crashed! --K. Peake 08:19, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Kyle Peake Thanks! Funny you should mention yesterday because that's when I was going to fix the background with the same issues you brought up on Palomita Blanca (song). Anyways, just like last time, the Billboard charts were licensed to Allmusic until they removed it due to licensing cost. In fact, Allmusic charts were allowed under WP:GOODCHARTS until the eventual removal. I am going to contact Billboard to see if they can put JLG's charts in a database though. Magiciandude You still need to fix the release stuff in the lead, write out merengue rap there, pipe electrocardiogram to Electrocardiography and pipe 12th Annual Lo Nuestro Awards to Lo Nuestro Awards. --K. Peake 06:59, 27 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Alright no problem. How does it look now? Erick (talk) 13:15, 27 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Pass now, I only did some brief copy editing! --K. Peake 20:14, 27 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
