I don't think I've ever seen a funnier phrase than "is egg salad worthy of an article?" Ah, wikipedia.

I think that the article should clarify that in its simplest form, egg salad is simply chopped hard-boiled egg and mayonnaise.

Egg salad is not commonly made from scrambled eggs.

Disconnect between description and similar items

If egg salad is part of a tradition of high-protein, low-carb foods mixed with other stuff, how is potato salad a related item? Removed Phrase

This sentence/reference was only about eggs not about egg salad so I removed it. Maybe somebody can find it a better home in another article and then mark it as dealt with here?

The egg is hugely symbolic in christian cultures, particularly Catholicism.
