I recently noticed that Wikipedia has entries for Roland Leighton and Victor Richardson, two individuals who are remarkable only for the roles they play in Vera Brittain's memoir Testament of Youth, but no entry for Edward Brittain, who is an equally or more important character in the same book. Therefore I am starting an entry for Edward Brittain. Drfryer (talk) 18:08, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Does this mean the article should be included in any LGBT-related categories? ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:15, 16 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Nedrutland and Drfryer: Curious if you have any thoughts. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:05, 16 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm afraid I don't know enough about Wikipedia categories to say. It seems to be clear now that Edward Brittain was gay--aside from the circumstances of his death, his letters to his sister, in which he broaches questions about his sexuality, and Geoffrey Thurlow's letters to him, often signed "Him Who Thou Knowest To Be Thine," are suggestive. But I don't know if that answers your question. 11:42, 17 June 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.64.125.25 (talk)
