Edward Askew Sothern, the Victorian actor, died in London, but was buried in Southampton Old Cemetery on 25th January 1881, in the plot where his sister Laura Ann Gwynn was buried a few years previously.

The Wiki article says he was aged 54, and buried in Brompton Cemetery. The Southampton burial register says he was buried in the Old Cemetery, plot A 004 063, aged 55. I edited this error, but my change has been removed and the erroneous data reinstated. What can I do to get the correction accepted? There is no published reference, but two definite sources: the burial registers of Southampton Old Cemetery held by Southampton City Council, and the grave plot itself with an inscribed memorial upon it. Advice would be gratefully accepted. please.
