Relation to Specialist degree? edit
How should this relate to the entry for Specialist degree? I don't think that there should be an entry for every specialist degree, but the specifics of each should be addressed in the top level. To avoid redundancy, I would probably suggest that this entry be integrated as a subsection. Any thoughts? --Tim 04:18, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- The Ed.S. is largely a U.S. degree, but the Specialist degree more generally is also used in the U.K., isn't it? One would need to be careful if merging was done. JJL 17:43, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

The most recent edits are, in my opinion, an improvement over the previous ones. In particular, I don't think most of these programs are 60 hour programs. I do think that the edits sound like a complaint about the degree not being recognized, and so I think they overstate the matter. I'll make some changes and we'll see if we can iterate? - As it is now, I think it looks good. Although I wasn't trying to overstate the salary complaints; I just thought that fit within the "not being recognized" thought, since I'm aware of this part of the reality of the degree. As for the length of the programs, I know that at least in school psychology, the Ed.S. will typically be 60 hours + an internship. If there aren't others that stop just at the 60 hours, I'll go with that. Tim 03:13, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
