Year of death
editWe have conflicting sources on his year of death:
- 1957: BDM, CiteBD, Sotheby's, Universalis, 100 ans de livres d'enfant et de jeunesse, ...
- 1958: Bibliothèque Nationale de France[1], Lambiek Comiclopedia[2], Bédétheque[3], L'Express, Drouot, ActuaBD, ...
When we have impeccable sources disagreeing on such a fact as the year of death, then it is not our job to "decide" which one is right and which one is wrong per WP:NPOV, WP:NOR, WP:UNDUE... We give both years, with one or some of the above sources, and leave it at that. If other wikis (French Wikipedia, Wikidata, ...) choose a different path and pick one year, then that's their choice, but not something which should influence our choice: these wikis are not reliable sources in any case.
