Parish name edit

On the parish council website (last updated 7 May 2012) the name is still "Edlesborough", although the district council has been using the longer name since February 2011 or earlier. The shorter version is in the 2001 census, and I haven't found anything about the change online, which is surprising for something so recent. Is it possible that this is just an alternative name and not an official change? Peter E. James (talk) 20:30, 2 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
