Biography - personal life

I have been trying to discover information about Ms. Pargeter's personal life, beyond the fact that she was a writer and that she lived in Shrewsbury on the Welsh borderlands. I have been unable to discover if she ever married or had children. I am curious in part because much of her work has a romantic element. While the fact that such information is absent implies that she did not marry or have children, it would be helpful, I think, if this were expressly stated and referenced. I would also like to find out who should be contacted in order to get permission to convert her writings into e-books, as I think it would be tragic for her writing to "disappear" because there are no more re-printings occurring. I knew Miss Pargeter in the last decade of her life, when she was member of writers' group I was then in. She never married and was childless. She was mentioned in Who's Who.Cloptonson (talk) 20:09, 21 October 2014 (UTC)

I have seen an article on Edith Pargeter in the Shropshire Star, part of a series titled Great Lives on West Midlands worthies. It supports that she never married but not living in Shrewsbury - she was born in Horsehay, grew up in Dawley and settled in Madeley, where she died, all in the east of Shropshire.
