Which Excellencies where Edith's godparents? edit

Edith has dedicated her book to her godparents:

 To their Excellencies
 Michael Nicolaevitch and Sophie Nicolaevna
 de Kapoustine

...but I am not 100% sure who they are. Russian names when anglicised can be changed a bit, and Russian family names seem to change with each generation? (N.B. In the original dedication, the font used was ALL CAPS, so I have made assumptions in my transcription of it as to which letters I think should be capitials.)

There is a Grand Duke Michael Nikolaevich of Russia (1832 – 1909). He had a son Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich of Russia(1861 – 1929) who married a Sophie of Merenberg. Powertothepeople (talk) 13:16, 14 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Linking stories to wikipedia entries edit

As Edith collected Russian folklore, many of her stories may have entries already in wikipedia but perhaps under slightly different names. Be good to explore this. This is an earlier Russian folklorist's collection https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Fairy_Tales Powertothepeople (talk) 14:47, 14 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
