Defence policy edit

Does anyone know how the Defence policy opt out is affected by the termination of the WEU? --Khajidha (talk) 00:21, 14 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't affect the Danish opt-out clause at all. The clause has had the (probably unintended) consequence, that Danish forces could operate under a NATO mandate during the Yugoslav Civil War, but packed up when the mandate was turned over to the EU (and the situation had become much less dangerous). 2.107.68.46 (talk) 10:02, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

The Edinburgh Agreement is not only concerning Denmark. It also provided the current arrangement of the fixed seats of European institutions. That aspect is totally missing in this article.--Wester (talk) 11:27, 8 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
