Hey Faballi! I read your article, and it was nice. I just changed some formal aspects, such as capital letters.
Observations and suggestions for improvements edit
The following observations and suggestions for improvements were collected, following expert review of the article within the Science, Technology, Society and Wikipedia course at the Politecnico di Milano, in June 2022.
All the aspects of this topic are covered in a balanced way. I suggest to check carefully the information on degumming and on waste valorization, as some misinterpretations are present.
The article is well organized and divided into sections. The block scheme of the refining process is very useful to understand how the steps occur one after another in the procedure and where waste and side-products are produced.
The key references are reported. I suggest to add the cross-reference to “Vegetable Oil” and to “Winterization of oil”. I do not know if it is necessary to add a cross-reference to the Italian page of Wikipedia “Raffinazione dell'olio vegetale”.
The article employs correct terminology, without using too many technical terms. Many mistakes and typos are present and the text has to be revised carefully.
