editThis article is very short. For instance it doesn't talk about the main work of Morin that is La Methode. --Chrisdel 08:54, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Prosecution cancelled
editI delete these sentences "A Le Monde article on the Palestine question which Morin co-authored in 2002 [1] led to prosecution under France's legal prohibition on "racial defamation". The case was concluded in June 2005 with the award of symbolic damages of one Euro." as the prosecution was cancelled in july 2006. --Chrisdel 13:26, 5 August 2006 (UTC) Bold text

Suggested source to consider
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
As a very small contribution – since I noticed that the article is missing sources at the beginning - I propose to add this source to the article: the preface written by the Director of UNESCO as a reference to the contributions of Edgar Morin in the field of education, published by UNESCO in 1999: Morin, Edgar. "Seven complex lessons in education for the future", UNESCO, Paris, November 1999. Preface by the Director-General of UNESCO, p. 7. Retrieved on 2 December 2018.
