The link to Eddie Ifft's podcast website is broken. It's missing an 'e' in the URL. It should be jimandeddietalkshit.com

Why are we revdelling the vandalism?
editFrom what I've heard, Ifft has asked his fans to go and edit Wikipedia to say he has AIDS. Technically WP:REVDEL says that it is covered by RD2 or RD3. But if someone has actively solicited the vandalism, it doesn't seem within the spirit of WP:REVDEL, Oversight or WP:BLP policies to revdel these. Ifft can hardly come back and say "hey, there's edits in my page history that say I have AIDS". Revdel needs to be applied pretty sparingly, and I think this may be going too far. Thoughts? —Tom Morris (talk) 10:43, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- The revdel-ing makes sense to me. Regardless of whether Ifft was silly enough to actually request that people add damaging content to his article (which seems to be something i've heard from a lot of people, but not actually seen discussed in a RS), they are adding damaging, uncited, potentially defamatory, content to an article about a living person. I very much doubt there's an OTRS ticket wherein Ifft was like, "Oh hey, let people add this information that might screw up my life, I'm fine with it and swear I won't sue you." Which means us hosting defamatory content is still a problem, whether he thinks it's funny or not. A fluffernutter is a sandwich! (talk) 10:48, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

- No he doesn't. Please don't disrupt Wikipedia to continue a prank a comedian is pulling upon himself. A fluffernutter is a sandwich! (talk) 01:15, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
