Is this original research? edit
While the term monetization is well established in economics, I have never come across the term "economy monetization", and struggled to find it on a basic google search? The effect of monetization on economies is well researched (and in the equivalent wiki article), but I have never heard it as "economy monetization". Is there something lost in translation here, and perhaps the author is referring to a different term or concept? 46.7.85.200 (talk) 10:05, 28 August 2021 (UTC)

The fact that you have never come across this term (what a strong argument!) does not mean that it does not exist. The article covers the issue at length, many sources are provided. Lamro (talk) 09:23, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
